Sweet Mondays

Unless you are one of the lucky few that have Mondays off as a day of rest, the sound of Monday can be quite dull. You’ve had a great time over the weekend and once again it’s back to work. For many of American’s, as our sacred weekends come to a close and the new work week rings in Mondays are anything but sweet. That is why we here at Coast To Coast have decided to put a little sweetness back into your Mondays.For this Monday, the first day of October, what could be sweeter than the sound of fall? There is something so fresh and exciting about fall as the leaves begin to change, the air becomes a little more crisp, and the delicious fall treats are something we look forward to.

This past Sunday I [Lou] had the sudden urge to quickly bake up some pumpkin cookies. I love to bake and usually challenge myself to never use a mix, however, for this baking session I decided to snatch up a Betty Crocker mix from the store for the sake of time. I must admit-  I would love to take full credit for these little masterpieces because these pumpkin cookies may just might have been the best cookies I have ever made.

Last but not least, it wouldn’t truly be Coast to Coast without a bit of fashion. This fall, we are absolutely loving tweed. It is positively classy and looks fabulous with multiple layers.
